Vitage Technologies’ first remote delivery center for BSM in Bangalore

Bangalore, March 2007: Vitage Technologies, a pioneering BSM (Business Service Management) company, today announced the setting up of a center for remote delivery of its Business Services Management (BSM) operations in Bangalore. Entailing an initial cumulative investment of close to Rs.15 crores, the center is amongst the first few in India to be assessed for Integrated Compliance to three ISO standards namely - ISO 9001 (Quality Standard); ISO 20000-1 (ISO Standard for IT Service Management ) and ISO 27001 (ISO Standard for Information Security Management System). The new center is capable of remote managing large volume of nodes and delivers services round the clock. And will enable Vitage to proactively and effectively manage its’ customer’s critical IT assets using BSM processes and technology that ensures high level of availability, security and meets the necessary compliance standards.

The integrated compliance audit was conducted by DNV at its centre and at two customer sites. The new remote center is capable of managing large volume of nodes across the globe and delivers services round the clock. The center will enable Vitage to proactively and effectively manage its’ customer’s critical IT assets using BSM processes and technology that ensures high level of availability, security and meets the necessary compliance standards.

The center uses high-end tools from major vendors like Adventnet, CA (Unicenter Suite) and Netenrich for remote monitoring & management to support Network, Security, Server, Database, Storage devices & Applications.
