Furniture Trends, News, Product and Store Reviews Website Launched

A new website has been launched called www.furniturestoreblog.com. The concept for the website was created by Will Maack and John Cavers. Will Maack has twenty years of experience working in the furniture industry in an assortment of positions from merchandising, sales and store manager. John Cavers has twenty years experience in general management, distribution and technology. In addition, Mr. Cavers has been a follower and collector of the arts for the last twenty years.

The blog was created with a single purpose. The purpose is to provide useful information to the general public, furniture shoppers and followers of furniture decorative arts. Will Maack says, “There is such a need for more information about furniture in general. Many people do not know what to look for when shopping for furniture or redecorating their home. I have people every day ask me about what trends are popular in style, looks, fabrics and colors to make sure that they are current with popular decorating themes”.

John Cavers adds, “I looked around the internet, but could not find a great information source on furniture and decorating trends. Most sites were sales sites that only marketed products and did not provide any value added information. For the average consumer, furniture and decorating are sizable investments and this creates a high expectation level. Our intention is to provide information on the overall experience and to give you the do's and don'ts. The fact that trends are ever changing makes it more difficult for people not in the furniture industry to be aware of the most current trends”.
