Dona Ana County Clerk’s Office Improves Access to Public Documents, Protects Residents from Identity Theft

EL PASO, TX March 2007 – Professional Document Systems announced today the installation of WebXtender, ClerkTrack and ID Shield at the Dona Ana County Clerk’s Office in Las Cruces, NM. PDS was able to meet all of the requirements of the Clerk’s Office, which including allowing online access to their public records for their constituents, yet absolutely would not potentially compromise their security by putting sensitive data such as social security numbers online.

PDS proposed a software solution consisting of WebXtender to allow online access to imaged documents, while adding ID Shield which provides auto redaction of social security numbers and other sensitive data on the images made viewable on the Internet. ClerkTrack was also installed to easily manage the recording and imaging of records filed in the Clerks office.
