”When my children were young, we were struggling as all young parents do,” Kay says. “I made a lot of their clothing and did the best that I could to make them look unique with a 'designer flare' of my own. I would look at the fashion magazines, window shop and admire the creators of the items I longed for. With my children grown and married, I went to the best department stores and bought the best layettes that I could find when I heard of the pending arrival of my first grandchild. I have never forgotten the days when my children were young and of my desire to dress them in fashion layettes. Which is how Royal Baby Boutique came about, and my aspiration to become an authorized reseller for these designers is a dream come true.”

Kay started her search for designers and was looking for the ones that had a unique ‘boutique’ quality item that she could feature on her website. She not only chose quality and luxury, she chose companies with a story.
