Lafayette, Indiana, May 7th, 2005: Indiana Ghost Trackers are excited at the honor ofinvestigating a historic landmark. Saturday May 7th, 2005 the Indiana Ghost Trackers
will travel to 600 Main Street Lafayette Indiana 47901 to the Lafayette Theater.
Ghost trackers are hopeful to record paranormal activity at this historic location.
In 1906 this building was known as the “Family Theater” and showed movies on a Viatscope
until the theater was torn down in 1935. The property was originally a church/theater,
and was one of the first buildings in Indiana to show moving pictures. The theater you
see today was built in 1937 opening in August of 1938. For more information about the
