K&S Wins $5.2 Million Contract to Build New Primary School in Millstadt, Illinois

St. Louis, Missouri … The Millstadt Consolidated Community School District #160 in southwest Illinois has awarded a $5.2 million contract to K&S Associates, Inc. of St. Louis to construct its new 39,000 square foot Primary Center. The Primary Center on 15 acres at 105 West Parkview Avenue Drive will be a new school for about 400 Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade students.

The state-of-the-art new facility will offer a full compliment of learning resources including classrooms, creative arts area, library, kitchen and cafeteria, gymnasium and administrative space. Completion is set for February 2008.

The project architect is BLDD Architects, Inc., assisted by KJWW Engineering Consultants, Thouvenot, Wade & Moerchen, Inc. (engineers-surveyors-planners) and Edge Associates (food service planning).
