The Meyer Company Helps with Affordable Housing Programs Builder Adding 55 new rental homes to the St. Louis area

March 27, 2007: CHESTERFIELD, Mo. – The Meyer Company, one of St. Louis’ largest homebuilders, is adding 55 additional rental homes to the St. Louis area, bringing quality and affordable housing to residents of St. Louis. The Meyer Company is working with the Missouri Housing Development Commission to build 55 new rental homes through the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit program. Rental costs will start from $550-$600.

In Hillsdale, MO the company is building 20 homes, developed by Housing Revitalization, Inc. The Meyer Company is also building 20 additional homes in Pagedale, MO, developed by Beyond Housing/Neighborhood Housing Services. In North St. Louis City, near St. Louis University, The Meyer Company is building 15 homes developed by Northside Community Housing.
The Meyer Company also builds traditional residential homes through its TMC Homes Division. Meyer says he feels strongly that it is important to continue to build affordable housing for the people of St. Louis.
