Raleigh Public Relations Society Announces Call for Entries in Sir Walter Raleigh Awards Competition

RALEIGH, N.C. – March 2007 – The Raleigh Public Relations Society (RPRS) is now accepting entries for the 2007 Sir Walter Raleigh Award for Excellence in Communication. Awards will be given in 24 categories across 6 divisions.

The Sir Walter Raleigh Award competition is held annually by RPRS as a showcase of exemplary work by statewide public relations and communications professionals. This competition recognizes and honors all practitioners who have achieved excellence in the field, from small, independent organizations to full-service agencies.

The competition is open to communication professionals across North Carolina. Membership in RPRS is not a prerequisite to enter. To obtain an entry form and to view the categories and requirements, visit www.rprs.org and follow the link to the Sir Walter Raleigh Award.

The deadline to submit an entry is May 11. All awards are judged by an out of state association to ensure independent, unbiased evaluations and winner selection.
