New Release of Spring 2005 Art Buyers Catalog

Lgendary Heritage Heirlooms, an online Gallery of unique and original art not found anywhere else announces its Spring 2005 catalog. "The advent of spring 2005 has proved to be one of the most beautiful in years. It's a great time to release our new art collection", says Mark Askew, founder of the gallery.

The Legendary Heritage Art Buyer’s Catalog was designed for gallery curators, museums directors, private art buyers, dealers and just about any one who loves inspirational art.

Landscape artist Mark Askew takes the viewer on a journey thru time and space where mellow moments collide with rich vibrant colors and textures. ”I want my work to inspire, uplift and bespeak the best that life has to offer, Mark says. “It’s time to get out of the funk and celebrate what the season is giving us, a bouquet of renewed life, color, sweet essence and good times.”

Recent releases include a series of works under the theme of music and dance. “Life Lessons”, depicts an eager young African American boy sitting at a piano with an admired tutor, his mother, at his side.

The painting captures the moment he learns to focus, build confidence and think constructively while sharing a meaningful moment that will bond mother and son into a special union. Another new release is “Strings of My Heart”, a romantic portrait of a beautiful violinist becoming one with her instrument. “Playing Just For You” and “New Orleans Jazz” exude the atmosphere of sweet music played by part-time street musicians in the big city.

Legendary Heritage Heirlooms was inspired by a small group of family members who thought it would be enriching to enhance the documentation of genealogical research with "artistic portraits" that would capture the vibrant personalities and stories of family members past and present in brilliant colors, textures and hues as only an artist can produce.

The newly created original works of art are endowed with historic, genealogical as well as aesthetic value.
