WARE MALCOMB ANNOUNCES EQUINOX FITNESS CLUB CENTURY CITY PROJECT COMPLETE

Century City, California – Ware Malcomb is a national design firm offering planning, architecture, interior design, graphic design and site development services to commercial real estate clients throughout the United States and Mexico. The firm’s Los Angeles office is proud to announce that construction has been completed for Equinox Fitness Club located at 2025 Avenue of the Stars in Century City, California. This project was developed by Equinox Fitness Club of New York, New York.

Ware Malcomb provided project management, construction documents and construction phase services for the Equinox Fitness Club project. The project involved the remodel of an existing two-story building totaling 25,000 square feet that is connected to the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel. The first floor consists of a full gym, salon, and The Shop at Equinox; while the second floor includes a full-service spa, treatment rooms, lounge area, yoga studio, and pilates studios. Construction for this project began in November 2006 and was completed in February of 2007. Shawmut Design and Construction of Boston, Massachusetts served as the general contractor for the project.
