Leading Publisher Chooses WarehouseExpert for New Distribution Center

Made4Net and Logistikos Projektai have teamed to provide an end-to-end warehouse management software solution for Lithuania’s leading publishing house, Alma Littera. Made4net's reseller in Lithuania and Latvia, LOGISTIKOS PROJEKTAI, will implement Made4net's warehouse management system, WarehouseExpert, in Alma Littera’s new Kaunas distribution center to address high volume distribution needs and optimize workflow.

Challenged by the growing demand for the company’s publications, increased operations and the need for effective high volume distribution, the Alma Littera Group looked for a WMS solution that could centralize its distribution process.

Alma Littera is currently managing its logistics processes using Microsoft Dynamics NAV, which provides high level inventory control but lacks the basic workings for efficient high volume distribution. Consequently, Alma Littera has chosen Made4net's WarehouseExpert to optimize their distribution infrastructure and manage all the operational activities in their new distribution center. WarehouseExpert will handle the complex operational activities and streamline the warehouse process.

WarehouseExpert will seamlessly integrate to Dynamics NAV and provide the warehouse a complete operational solution. By using the latest technology such as Radio Frequency terminals and barcode technology, it will automate all warehouse processes starting with books receipt, optimized storage and putaway, pick and pack, replenishment, and counting – to name a few.

In addition, WarehouseExpert will help Alma Littera to:
