(Fayetteville, NC) Advanced Internet Technologies, Inc (www.AIT.com) opened their 2007 1st Quarter Dealership Conference this week at the Corporate Headquarters in Fayetteville, NC. AIT’s prospective new dealers were in attendance from Virginia, Tennessee, Indiana, South Carolina and Washington State arrived to begin a three day training and certification event. As prospects successfully complete the course they will be granted authorized dealer status and receive a wealth of additional benefits such as capitalization assistance for facilities, health benefits, sales leads, marketing assistance and continue product and service training from AIT’s product manager core.

At the conference, AIT instructs dealers how to overcome the traditional barriers small businesses face while eliminating many of the risk factors associated with the small business. “AIT Corporate serves as the support structure, my back office. I like the freedom of being able to sell without losing my focus on the profit line. The dealer program eliminates a lot of traditional headaches,” said Al Whitfield, AIT’s Atlanta Dealer. Some of the topics covered include Communication & Collaboration, Web Services, Training & Certification, Commerce & Billing, and Government Contracting & Consulting.

“All of the AIT Dealerships are locally owned and operated by our most promising resellers, all who’ve expressed a desire to grow their businesses and to pursue the good old American dream,” said AIT’s Chief Marketing Officer, Sean A. McCoy. “This initiative, which was started over two years ago and has since expanded to over 20 Dealerships Nationwide, continues to be a great success and is a much needed shift in our Industry. Our resellers needed the instant credibility of the AIT brand in order to swing for the fences with larger, more complex deals,” McCoy said.

“By establishing these individuals as micro versions of ourselves, our dealers are given the necessary toolset to be a success not only within their own community, but nationally. This effort is economic and entrepreneurial development at its finest,” said AIT’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer Clarence E. Briggs, III. “I relate to these guys, most of who are at a place in their business similar to where I was at when I first started out over 10 years ago. It was different for me then though, as our industry was still relatively young and more forgiving than it is now,” Briggs says. “It would have been a heck of a lot easier had I had a company like AIT to show me the pitfalls ahead of time, as opposed to experiencing them first-hand. A lot of money was spent on that education,” jokes Briggs.
