New low cost mixed currency counter

Machine Advantage announced today an important addition to the company's currency handling product category; the ERC SB-1000 mixed currency counter.

CEO Earl Evans describes the SB-1000 as "an intelligent and reliable mixed currency discriminator using advanced image processing technology that provides faster and more accurate counting, batching and deposit processing of un-sorted banknotes without interruption".

The SB-1000 design incorporates "resident memory" images of all US bills. During the counting process bills are compared to the built-in images for verification and are scanned for counterfeit attributes using ultra violet and magnetic detection. Additionally, the "two pocket" configuration of the SB-1000 allows one bill denomination to be separated out or batched during the count process. A large, clear LED display shows all denominations counted by unit and dollar value including a grand total. The SB-1000 includes a menu driven easy to use operator panel and requires minimal maintenance. SB-1000 features:

Face Mode: Face mode will process all faced (front side) notes into the main pocket and unfaced (back side) to the reject pocket
Mixed Mode: Identifies and counts mixed denomination notes at 1000 notes per minute
Orientation: Orientation Mode will process same direction of front side of a note to the main pocket and other direction of front side of a note to the reject pocket.
Print: Print mode will print a report of value and piece count of all denominations via the RS232 Serial port
Single Mode: Count and separate one denomination from others
