New Local Business Organization Formed, First Event Scheduled for March 14

Tampa, FL March 2007 – Mike Harter, president of Bottom Line Publications, the home of the Just Websites print directory and JustLookitUp.com website, and his partner, six-time Pro Bowl Fullback, Mike Alstott, believe enough in the local economy that they’ve created a new business organization with the goal of stimulating that economy. Bottom Line Executives is aiming at business owners and top executives from all over the Tri-Counties who share the same common goal: to stand together and make a difference in the local market by helping each other generate new business so everyone can reap the benefits of a stronger local economy.

“We felt there was an important need for an organization of this type,” said Harter. “Consumers in the area don’t realize that the local economy suffers when they buy on the internet and don’t look to find local businesses that can serve their needs. We want to get all the local heads of business together to discuss this and other economic issues. A strong local economy is good for not just business owners, but consumers as well.”

The organization’s first networking event is scheduled for Wednesday, March 14 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Tampa Club located at the top of the Bank of America Building at 101 East Kennedy Blvd., Suite 4200 in Downtown Tampa. Hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served. Business casual attire is required. The event will give local business owners and executives an opportunity to mingle with like-minded individuals, as well as get a chance to learn more about Bottom Line Executives and Bottom Line Publications’ other products, Just Websites and JustLookitUp.com. Mike Alstott will be in attendance at the function and autographed footballs and jerseys will be given away.

“This initial event will be fun and informative,” said Alstott. “Attendees will be able to network with other business owners and executives, but they’ll also see how Bottom Line’s other products support the agenda of Bottom Line Executives. We’ll have representatives there to sign up their businesses for free listings in both our print and online directories giving one million local residents an opportunity to find their companies. If that wasn’t enough incentive on its own, we’ll be raffling off some great autographed memorabilia for those that do sign up.”

Attendees of the networking event will have an opportunity to join the Bottom Line Executives business organization. Annual dues for businesses are $1000 with the majority of it being donated to local charities.

“Not only is this the perfect way to increase your business, it’s a great way to give something back to the community,” continued Harter. “By donating the majority of the dues to charity, we’ll all be making a difference for those in need.”
