Diamond Bar, CA,–California University of Technology CEO Senthil Kumar announced today the award of up to 50% Tuition Grants to qualified students who enroll for online classes by Spring, 2007. This announcement comes as the online college (CalUniversity) launches its initial Bachelor, Master’s and Professional Doctoral online degree programs. Kumar says “CalUniversity is founded on the principle that a quality education should be attainable for everyone, anywhere and at anytime.” In keeping with this philosophy, the University has launched this tuition grant program as well as providing students with year-round enrollment, regular affordable tuition rates and flexible payment options.
“Nowhere could I have expected such great program, at such affordable tuition that I could work at my own pace,” states Dale Wolford a CalUniversity graduate student and currently Director of Curriculum Development and Program Delivery at the University.
Some of the online degree program highlights also include: short six week terms, tuition starting at $120 per unit, dual degree pathways, and self paced educational options.
“This tuition grant program could save students hundreds of dollars on their education” adds Kumar. We are very happy and excited to offer this to everyone.” The program is multi-tiered and offers savings at many different levels, dependent upon when the student enrolls.
Prospective students interested in the tuition grant program are encouraged to apply at the University’s website at www.caluniversity.com.
“One of the unique advantages of a CalUniversity Education,” states Dr. Tony Tran, Chief Academic Officer, “is the diversity of degree emphasis available to the students.” CalUniversity offers a variety of pathways to achieve their online Professional Doctorate degree. Some students may elect to earn the Master’s and then the Doctorate degree, while others may choose a dual degree (MBA & DBA) pathway by skipping the Master’s Thesis preparation, and still others may opt to pursue the Professional Doctorate degree after completion of the Bachelor’s program.
