Grady Britton Advertising Campaign Earns National Award

Portland, OR – Portland-based advertising agency, Grady Britton, earned national recognition in this year’s Service Industry Advertising Awards (SIAA). The agency received a Gold Award in the “Total Advertising Campaign” category for creative rebranding work in the financial services industry.

Teaming with First Independent, a bank based in Vancouver, Washington, Grady Britton developed and launched a multi-media rebranding campaign, including television, radio, print, and outdoor advertising. The work was evaluated based on creativity, quality, consumer appeal, execution, and overall content by a national panel of judges.

Demonstrating First Independent’s deep commitment to the success of their clients, the campaign delivered a fresh brand identity to the communities that the bank has served for nearly a century. A new tagline, “Ready When You Are” illustrated the bank’s focus on helping customers who are serious about their finances and ready for the next step forward in life. The new logo, featuring three tiered red steps, symbolized growth and signified different life stages. Increasing brand awareness and positioning the bank in its primary market, the new brand honored First Independent’s rich 100-year history while also embracing their steps towards the future.

The Service Industry Advertising Awards (SIAA) honor creativity and communication accomplishments in the service industry. Recognizing advertising excellence from service institutions and agencies nationwide, The SIAA continues to expand faster than any other major advertising awards in the country. This year the SIAA received more than 2,000 entries and awarded 225 Gold Awards, 165 Silver Awards, and 124 Bronze Awards.
