Fenton Art Glass Celebrates Carnival Glass…Yesterday and Today

To celebrate the centennial of Carnival glass during 2007, the glass artisans of Fenton salute the past and mark their place in the present with a variety of shimmering Carnival glass colors and interesting shapes. From classic to contemporary, these pieces are surely heirlooms of the future.

The stately 10" Peacock Vase (item 4391 9E) is an historic Fenton mould from the 1930s, now used for the first time to make Carnival glass. Collectors will love the crisp pattern details and the vivid iridescent green hues of this remarkable vase.

Fenton designer Suzi Whitaker adapted an original Frank L. Fenton drawing from the 1920s to create our new 9-3/4" Dancing Ladies Covered Urn (Item 8180 9E). Made of iridized green glass, this piece is simply the epitome of contemporary Carnival Glass.
