No any additional power supply device required, and all the power is based on 5v HDMI device. It uses HDMI high performance copper cables allowing the extender to actively regenerate the signal up to 100ft. And if that is not enough, SCP GICD (Gas-Injected Cellular Dielectric) provides high-velocity, with full signal strength and super low loss.
