AXIGEN (http://www.axigen.com) is proud to announce a new technological partnership with one of the world’s leading network hardware and software solutions manufacturer, Sun Microsystems, Inc, thus becoming an Associate Partner in the Sun Partner Advantage Program for Independent Software Vendors.

The commercial version of AXIGEN Mail Server for Solaris i386 was launched on August 15, 2006 and has since reached version 2.0.4, while the 3.0 beta release is currently available for public testing.

“We are delighted to partner with AXIGEN in their solution developing efforts and we are positive Sun technologies will really help them increase market share of mission critical applications. Solaris 10 is the best operating system in the market today and is the preferred choice for critical environments,” declared Anca Stancu, Sales Consultant, Sun Microsystems Business Development Office Romania.

“One of the main benefits of becoming a Sun Associate Partner is the official acknowledgment of the stability and robustness of our complex messaging solution on Sun platforms,” commented Oana Bornaz, AXIGEN CEO.

In fact, its flexible multi-platform architecture allowed AXIGEN Mail Server to be easily ported on Sun platforms and helped the AXIGEN Team maintain a steady rhythm throughout the development of the entire range of AXIGEN product versions, on all other platforms available. In the months to come, the company hopes that this technological partnership will confirm in the eyes of Sun system administrators worldwide the added value of a complex product which combines two reliable software solutions.
