March 6, 2007: ST. CHARLES, Mo. – Cold temperatures, long nights and a so-called buyer’s market did not stop several prospective buyers from camping out for first choice of Vantage Homes’ lots in Talbridge. The builder received ten contracts the first weekend it opened at the St. Charles community. “This community has a great location and Vantage Homes offers value and character. This, combined with a strong new home market in St. Charles County, led to a successful grand opening,” Vantage Homes Project Manager Jay Arne said. “The grand opening weekend was a great experience for the homebuyers to meet future neighbors while sharing homemade chili and stories.”
Vantage Homes has 63 homesites in Talbridge, including cul-de-sacs and walkouts. The homes start in the $290’s, and ranch, two-story and story-and-a-half plans are available. Vantage Homes is also introducing six new floor plans as well as new elevations on some its most popular existing models.
The community is located with quick access to the Page Extension and Highway 70, and the homes in Talbridge are built on what used to be the St. Charles Golf Course property. Despite some initial controversy, Arne says there has been positive feedback from the community.
Talbridge is one of more than 20 neighborhood projects by Vantage Homes, an O’Fallon, Mo. based homebuilder. The company has built more than 3,400 homes in St. Charles County, St. Louis County, Kansas City and the Metro East since 1993.
