LISA'S CRAFTIQUE BOUTIQUE Takes Creativity To a Whole New Level

Lisa Hogan, a 35 year old mother of two recently launched her business in the Spring of 2006 with the opening of a small retail shop Lisa's Craftique Boutique in the downtown area of Swansboro, North Carolina. Her website www.LisasCraftiqueBoutique.com was soon to follow.Lisa's Craftique Boutique speciaizing in Vintage Inspired and Country Cottage designs offers a variety of Fine Handmade Gifts, Vintage items and Creative Home Accents including Baby Gifts, Painted Glassware, Personalized Gifts and Chocolate Bars, and Themed Gift baskets. She has recently added Handmade Wedding Gifts and Keepsakes to her boutique. She also offers Custom Craft Design services.
Lisa states, "Everything I make comes from the Heart. I have always loved the look and feel of Vintage items and have a stong sense of Nostalgia…many of my creations reflect that."
Lisa has spent the years of her adult life treasure hunting in local fleamarkets and thrift stores for items she could bring home and recreate into something wonderful. She has filled her home with her creations and has dabbled in many different medias such as decorative painting, sewing and even furniture making.
Lisa states "For years I have been craving a career where I could utilize the creative mind God gave me. I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to fulfill my dream."
In January of 2006 Lisa decided to close the retail shop and is looking foward to reopening in a larger location in the near future. The new shop will offer a wider variety of handmade items and will also offer Creative Classes for those wanting to learn specific craft techniques.
