Central Mass Web Design, a full service firm providing web design services to various industries and professions is giving one lucky non-profit organization a completely new website. The firm will provide services such as layout, design and advice on Internet strategies to one deserving charitable organization chosen by volunteer committee. The firm will kick off their initiative on March 1 by accepting applications from any 501c3 non-profit organization charted in Massachusetts. CMWD will accept applications from qualified non-profit organizations until April 17, 2007. Applications can be filled out directly online at www.centralmasswebdesign.com. Interested organizations can also contact CMWD at 978-632-5300 and ask for an application by mail or email. The winning organization will be notified on May 17 by phone.
CMWD will spearhead all aspects of the web design process including initial consultation, design, layout and programming. The firm will also work closely with the winning organization to help them develop better communication channels with all constituents and stakeholders, making suggestions for new ways to reach the public.
“The methods and avenues of communication are changing rapidly,” stated Matt Ward, president and project manager at CMWD. “The advent of social media such as video and bogging are becoming increasingly important to the way in which we communicate with our audiences. Bottom line, we want to help an organization reach more people and raise more money.”
CMWD was founded in 2002 by Ward. The firm has developed websites and internet strategies for many businesses in Massachusetts and beyond. The firm also has extensive experience working for non-profit organizations most notably, developing websites for 12 Toys for Tots chapters across the country.
“We have decided as a team that its time for us to give back to the community,” stated Ward. “We have seen impressive growth recently and believe it’s our responsibility to use our knowledge and skills for the greater good.”
