gomembers' goRaiser “raises the bar” at AFP’s Annual Conference

[Herndon, VA] gomembers, Inc. (http://www.gomembers.com) was thrilled to debut goRaiser at the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ 42nd International Conference on Fundraising, held at the Baltimore Convention Center on April 3 – 5th. goRaiser is the fundraising component of the goSeries, a web-based software service developed completely in Microsoft’s .NET framework. It lets organizations manage campaigns and donors by setting up a fundraising site for donations with automated transaction processing. The gomembers’ booth was managed by John Langlais and Holly Swartz. Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Tom McGourty, was also in attendance. They presented goRaiser to an audience of eager fundraising professionals. The demonstrations of goRaiser were well received by the attendees.
Michael T. Scanlon, Jr., President & CEO of the Self Storage Association said that seeing goRaiser was "worth the whole trip to the show." Another attendee remarked that the "broadcast function is awesome!"
"They liked the fact that the software had functionality that their staff can use to get their jobs done as well as an online presence for the general public to come and give or pledge,” said Holly Swartz. "They were especially attracted to the idea of not having to purchase software license and instead subscribing to use the software for as long or short as they want."
AFP’s International Conference on Fundraising is an annual meeting that brings together development professionals, donors, volunteers and suppliers. It was an opportunity for attendees to discuss current issues, attend educational seminars, and network with others in the fundraising community. The expo area offered products, services, and advice to organizations.
