Houston Honda Dealers to Hold 15th Annual Ride For Kids® April 29, 2007

HOUSTON, TX – Houston Honda Dealers and the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation are teaming up once again to fight against childhood brain tumors at the 15th Annual Houston Ride for Kids® Road Ride Sunday, April 29, 2007 at 10 a.m. at the Pasadena Convention Center and Fairgrounds. After the ride, local children will tell their stories at the Celebration of Life program, and awards will be presented to the top fundraisers, where one lucky participant will win a brand new Honda Motorcycle.
This event continues to grow every year. The 2006 Houston Ride for Kids® raised $223,802 with over 1,000 participants, and there are expected to be at least 1,200 riders this year with the hopes of raising $235,000. Proceeds from the ride will help ensure that the medical community has the resources necessary to find new treatments, enhance the lives of survivors and ultimately, eliminate this most deadly form of childhood cancer.
The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation is the world’s leading nonprofit foundation for pediatric brain tumor research and family support. Registration is from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. and a minimum $35 donation is required to ride.
