Taipei, Taiwan, February 2007. ATEN International, leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of advanced connectivity solutions, today announced that it will unveil trendsetting innovations in KVM switch technology at this year’s CeBIT trade show in Hanover (15 – 21 March 2007). ATEN will not only showcase its full range of cutting-edge KVM switches for SOHO users and SMBs, but also demonstrate revolutionary Cat 5 KVM products, IP-based server room management solutions and HDMI / DVI video solutions at its booth (Hall 15, Booth E11).

ATEN’s exhibition presentation will focus on the introduction and demonstration of innovative product highlights. For the SOHO market, ATEN presents a whole new line of 2-port PS/2, USB and Hybrid DVI cable KVM switches with audio support. For the enterprise market, ATEN will display its new economical Cat 5 KVM solutions KH1508/1516, the 8/16-port High Density KVM switches that are especially designed for growing SMBs. In addition, ATEN will also present the first Dual-Rail LCD KVM switch with over-IP and dual bus capability in the market - KL9108/9116, the 8/16-port Hideaway™ LCD KVM Over the NET.

Furthermore, visitors can have a look at ATEN’s comprehensive line of DVI-compatible video switches and video splitters, the brand-new 2-port HDTV A/V switch VS231 and the 4-port version VS431 both being compatible with high-definition monitors or projectors. Another new video solution presented at the trade show will be the 4-port HDMI switch VS481. This cutting-edge device integrates the HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) technology and offers four ports, thus allowing users to quickly and easily share their HDMI display devices with up to four HDMI input sources, such as DVD players, satellite receivers or digital camcorders. A remote control unit and pushbuttons located on the switch are available for selecting the desired input source.

ATEN will also have three live demo sections to demonstrate the functionality of its Cat 5 KVM solutions for server room expansion, Over the NET solutions for centralized remote server room management and DVI Video Solutions for digital video signal transmission.

The demo centers will include the following product innovations:
