New Earth Records Signs Music Artist Kavi

February 21, 2007 — In January 2007, New Earth Records signed artist Kavi to a record deal for his upcoming CD ‘Unconditional Love’ set to be released in May 2007.

This is Kavi’s first records deal and he is excited about the experience. “The greatest thing is that New Earth Records feels like exactly the right outlet for my music. My music has never really had a place before; it’s always been a bit of a misfit. Now I don’t have to pretend it’s pop music, [the music] can be itself and just shine in its own way,” said Kavi.

The making of ‘Unconditional Love’ has been called “a long process with a deep teaching.” The same can also be said of most of the music of this genre. New age music is deeply centered on healing the mind and soul of its listeners, and in the current fast-paced environment, Kavi offers a sense of peace to his listeners.

The album is true to its name in that it grew from the love that Kavi shares with his partner Amoda. She a writer and he a musician, the collaboration was immensely successful. Kavi said of his working so closely with Amoda, “We work together most of the time anyway, and our relationship was born out of our creative working together. It’s actually a place where we feel very comfortable.
