Mill Valley, Calif. - February 17, 2007 - Jeff Neugebauer, a classically trained artist and a rising star in the San Francisco Bay Area, will be exhibiting his paintings in New York’s Gallery Icosahedron throughout the month of May, 2007. Some of the highlights of Neugebauer’s work that will be showcased include: “Man with a Bowl of Rice”, “Warrior with Destiny” and “The Phoenix”. Despite the overwhelming popularity of incompetent modern art, Neugebauer's profound work is intended to re-establish painting based on well thought out concepts that are executed with renaissance skill. Neugebauer’s art is sophisticated and has consequently been well received by private collectors and museums on the West Coast. Gallery Icosahedron is providing the East Coast with their first opportunity to see Neugebauer’s work starting May 1st, 2007 at 27 North Moore St. New York, NY 10013.
"It’s wonderful to be exhibiting in New York,” said Jeff Neugebauer. “New York art lovers are sophisticated people – the kind that can appreciate my paintings.”

About Jeff Neugebauer
Jeff Neugebauer has been drawing and painting since he was a child. He has continued this passion throughout his life. Following the Florentine techniques of the Renaissance, Neugebauer has incorporated the knowledge of the great masters into his painting. His work has gained traction among private collectors and museums including the permanent collection of the Arizona State University Art Museum and the Haarmann Reimer Corporate Museum in West Germany. Prior to painting full-time, Neugebauer pioneered the multi-media technology innovation beginning in 1990. He applied his creativity and artistic talents in conjunction with his knowledge and understanding of technology to produce computer-aided designs, animation, and interactive CD-ROMS, prior to the multi-media industry boom. As founder and CEO of SpiralWest, Neugebauer led the company to be one of the first in the multi-media industry to develop the World Wide Web. Neugebauer closed SpiralWest in 2004 to pursue his life-long dream of making art that is worth thinking about.
Neugebauer will also have his first solo museum exhibition coinciding with a Renaissance Masters show at the Bakersfield Museum of Art in California, September, 2007.
