Internet intelligence company Envisional has appointed Cambridge UK's “SuperCoach” Kate Tojeiro to its board, in an unusual move that recognises the vital importance of soft skills, even in a hard-edged technology business.Tojeiro is an experienced executive and performance coach, with radical ideas about the "tragic" waste of talent and effort she sees among many British managers.
“Envisional has unique Internet monitoring technology, a great team and a great future,” she says. “But even in a technology company like this, it’s people’s ability to make the most of their potential that makes the vital difference.
“I’ve worked with the giants in fields like IT, telecoms and media and seen brilliant managers fail disastrously because of the barriers within themselves. It is Envisional’s recognition of the human factor that will underpin its continuing growth and success.”
Kate Tojeiro acquired the “SuperCoach” tag while working with highly-stressed managers in the tough environment of City financial institutions. She was brought in a year ago by Chief Executive Officer Michael Wheatley, to work with Envisional’s management team.
“Kate’s ability to create alignment between people’s individual aspirations and the company’s goals and targets is extraordinary,” says Wheatley.
“She combines coaching, people development and business skills in a way I have never seen before. I am excited by the results she has achieved at Envisional and I’m delighted that she is joining the board.”
Kate Tojeiro runs X fusion, a company specialising in developing winning attitudes and behaviours in both teams and individuals. She has 15 years’ experience in the fields of executive search, HR and performance coaching and has worked with technology businesses, academic institutions and blue-chip organisations, including Barclays Capital and EMAP.
Envisional serves a superb client list of global banks, Hollywood studios and major brand owners, helping to protect them from Internet fraud, phishing, piracy, counterfeiting and brand abuse.

The company’s patented A3I – advanced, automated artificial intelligence – technology can monitor the entire online universe.
Unlike conventional search engines, it goes beyond the web to scan the shady worlds of auctions and trade boards, newsgroups, peer-to-peer networks and Internet Relay Chat channels, finding images and words, in any language or script, from Russian to Arabic or Chinese. But having found more, it is able to return less, intelligently sifting and ranking the results to bring back only those hits that matter most to a particular customer.
