KAYSVILLE, Utah, February 2007 – Office Zone is proud to announce the addition of two new GBC Velobind machines used for binding books, reports and other documents. The two new models are the V50 and V110E machines. Both machines use four-prong Velobind strips to hold paper together and keep things bound. These new Velobind machines bring to 14 the total number of machines available online at Office Zone. Both the V50 and the V110E are compact and easy to use. They are designed for entry-level use and are a great way to move binding operations in-house.
Schools, law offices and more commonly use Velobinding. Documents bound by Velobind machines are compact, easy to file and are great for mailing. Velobinding strips come in various colors and can be used with a wide variety of paper and binding covers.
The GBC V50 Velobind machine uses a paper-punch style device that punches four holes through paper. The punching operation is manual and the Velobind strip is manually inserted through the punched holes, where the excess portion of the strip is snapped into a back plate for a firm bind. The punching die can punch up to 20 sheets of paper at a time. At only 12 ¼-inches long, the GBC V50 can fit in almost any location (http://www.officezone.com/gbcv50.htm).
The GBC V110E is very similar to the V50, but electric. An electric motor punches through up to 24 sheets of paper by pushing a button. It is capable of binding up to 200 sheets of paper into a booklet or report. The V110E punches a total of four holes that utilize four-prong Velobind strips (http://www.officezone.com/gbcv110e.htm).
Existing high-volume Velobind machines have always been popular and Office Zone expects this new addition to become a big hit.
