Nelsok.com Picks Google Adsense for Its Users

Seattle, WA (Nelsok.com) February 20, 2007 — Nelsok.com, a video post and sharing community has decided to use Googles Adsense as the ad publishing service for its users effective February 20, 2007. Nelsok chose Google Adsense because of its widespread use, popularity and dependability.

Nelsok.com, a division of Nelsok Media Inc., gives users the option of showing advertisements on the user’s behalf, in an attempt to share potential profits with the user. The user’s ads and nelsok's ads are rotated on a ratio of one to one; for each ad shown on the user’s behalf one is shown on nelsok's behalf.

The user sees advantages from an advertisement rotation model because the site is not in any way in control of the users revenue stream, the third party (Google Adsense) is always in control of how much the user earns per click or per impression. Another advantage is the advertisement location that the video upload user and nelsok.com share. The advertisement area that is shared between the site and the user is the most visible area on the site; it is located directly below the video viewing area.

To date more than 900,000 ads have been shown, and now half of those ads will be displayed using the video submitters Adsense publisher ID.
