SHIRTLIFTER continues to evolve as an artist by taking his fans on one of the most unique journeys with his sounds solely available via legal online downloads.

Celebrating his latest release, Fans In The City, his third album features ten unfamiliar and extraordinary takes on familiar genres of Electronic music and is released on his Authorized Recordings independent label (January 2005). SHIRTLIFTER certainly continues his tradition of making beautifully eclectic records. His style is comparable to FatBoy Slim, Daft Punk, or Moby, as SHIRTLIFTER perfectly intermixes Pop, House, Urban, Dance, and Lounge.

Across the Worldwide Web SHIRTLIFTER music became exposed through more than 300 music provider sites. StreamCast Networks, creators of Morpheus, launched an independent music promotion page titled MusicCity.com which initially featured eight selected artists, including SHIRTLIFTER . Across the universe of the Internet, tracks from SHIRTLIFTER ’s constantly expanding discography are being ranked on Top 10 Charts, such as Amazon and MP3.com.
Terrestrially, SHIRTLIFTER ’s music has been licensed to Music for Brands, Pump Audio, The Next Big Thing and Player’s Server. The track "Tear The Roof Off" was featured on Driven, produced in Britain for VH-1. The tracks "Sweet, Sweet Energy", "Dance Psycho" and "Growler" have charted on CBC Galaxie Electronic’s Top 40. Meanwhile both "Turn My World Around" and "For Your Mind (Body & Soul)" have charted on the same network’s Galaxie Dance Top 40. SHIRTLIFTER music has been broadcast over the country’s air waves via CBC‘s Radio 2 and Radio Winnipeg and also on Global Groove Network’s Saturday Night’s Sessions.
Born in Ottawa, the capital of Canada, SHIRTLIFTER's earliest musical experience was with four garbage cans in his parent's garage. First influenced by electronic music with the invasion of electro-pop, disco and punk in the early 80's, SHIRTLIFTER began creating House tracks as one half of Boy's Life. By the late 90's he had teamed up with the U.K.’s legendary DJ Paul Walker in pursuit of their mutual underground interests. SHIRTLIFTER has developed a unique sound, drawing inspiration from David Bowie, Duran Duran, Kraftwerk, Parliament and others.
