Ambient Podcast Releases More Electronica Music

In his latest podcast, titled Early February, Mark Rushton features three new pieces of ambient and electronica music that are mixed together. The MP3 download can be heard or downloaded via podcast.markrushton.com or iTunes users can listen and subscribe directly via itunes.markrushton.com

From the markrushton.com web site: "Like January's podcast, here's three more pieces of brand-new ambient and electronica music all mixed together. The initial 5 minutes is totally gorgeous; like a mutant Harold Budd remix floating in and out amongst field recordings, bits of electronica, and a backing that drifts slightly in and out of time. The second part features a simple piano arpeggio, soft bass, and electronic touches for almost 3 minutes. The third piece is more industrial in nature with field recordings and shortwave samples amongst mixed ambience."

Early February was produced and mixed at East Highlands Studio in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, during late January and early February 2007.
