PokerNews Launches PokerNews Romania Website

PokerNews Romania (http://ro.pokernews.com) is the latest addition to the ever-growing number of PokerNews language websites. Signalling the continued growth of poker in Europe, PokerNews Romania brings the number of European countries with a dedicated PokerNews language website to over ten.

PokerNews Romania will provide all the features of a PokerNews website – the latest local and international poker news, resources for new players, reviews of online poker rooms, special localized promotions, and a community forum where Romania poker players can come together and discuss poker strategy, news and views.

PokerNews Romania editor Monica Saavedra is understandably thrilled about the recent launch, “I am very excited to see a great project like this realised. I hope that Romanian PokerNews is going to reach all passionate poker players from Romania and also attract new players into the poker arena. Due to the great expansion of poker all over the world, Romania already has a Romanian poker tour, but the number of participants is very low. Although there are no poker rooms in Romania some casinos have a table or two available. With such limited exposure, it is hard to create a strong poker community. Therefore I hope that Romanian PokerNews will be the spark which is needed to take Romanian poker to an international level."

PokerNews currently provides websites for nationals of Germany, France, Italy, Holland, Russia, Sweden, Poland, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Greece, Portugal, Estonia, Spain, China, Japan, Israel, Turkey and Romania. These sit alongside the English versions from the U.K, Australia and America. There are also a number of PokerNews language websites planned for launch in the coming months.
