DuraCord® Textiles Unveils Beaches Collection

The new DuraCord® Textiles introductions for 2007 are continuing the revolutionary story of fashion, performance, and comfort for which DuraCord® has become known. The selections include multiple weave designs as well as a fresh pallet. ”Glamorous beach house” was the inspiration for this collection which incorporates multiple blues and crisp neutrals. Blues range in color from strong aqua to navy. Oatmeal and rich citron make a balanced complement for the bouquet of beach blues.

A wide 13” repeat stripe is the center piece of the beaches collection that mimics the blues and pickled whites found throughout beach-side living. A dual tone blue floral jacquard and a mosaic of blue and citron compliment the stripe for bold pillow choices. A multi-yarn weave incorporating all colors in the pallet completes the collection.

The new Beaches Collection from DuraCord® Textiles will be on display at the Resource Center – Suite 201 during the fall home furnishings market, High Point, NC.

Easy Care - Cleaning is as simple as washing briskly with mild soapy water.

Colorfast - Long exposure to sun will not fade the vibrant colors in this fabric. It is solution dyed which simply means the fibers cannot fade. The fibers were colored while still in solution form.

Fast Drying - With a 0.01 percent moisture regain, this fabric does not absorb water and therefore dries very fast.

Stain Resistant - DuraCord® resists staining due to its nonabsorbent properties.

Abrasion Resistant - Other synthetic yarns do not stand up to any abrasion and are not suited for the wear and tear of outdoor living. DuraCord® lasts under rough use.

Bleach Resistant - Bleach can be used for cleaning as it does not affect the fabric's color.

Mildew Resistant - DuraCord® is produced with built in anti-microbial blockers.

High Strength - This is a truly light weight yarn with heavy -duty strength.

Environmentally Friendly - DuraCord® offers an environmentally friendly alternative to other synthetic fibers as it requires less energy and water to manufacture.
