Actis Technologies plans to increase headcount by 50 per cent

Mumbai- India - Actis Technologies Pvt Ltd, the leading Audio Visual and Environment Control solutions provider in India has increased its pace of hiring in the past year, and it plans to continue expanding by adding another 50 % to its net staff strength in the year ahead.

The boost in hiring during the past year came as the company ramped up for the recently opened offices in Pune and Kolkata to tap into the growing AV market which is the outcome of strong growth in IT, ITES, Manufacturing, Education and Residential sectors in these regions. This move suggests the continued stability in the company's business. It also illustrates Actis's continued ability to find and hire large numbers of quality employees who meet its standards.

Speaking on the employee forecast for the next year Mr. Abhimanyu Gupta, Director, Actis Technologies said “Actis has experienced tremendous growth in the year 2006 and hence we have felt the need to substantially strengthen our workforce. This move is also strategically planned to enhance and sustain this growth further. He further added that Actis doubled its employee strength from 90 to 180 employees by the year –end of 2006
