Philadelphia Marketers have been waiting for the AMA's 5th annual Super Bowl Smackdown!

The Philadelphia American Marketing Association (PAMA) is holding it’s annual Super Bowl Smackdown event on February 7th at Dave and Buster’s on Columbus Avenue. This is the 5th year for the association’s most successful and fun event for marketing and communications professionals in the Philly area.It is an evening to hear what branding, advertising and corporate marketing experts think of the year’s most talked-about commercials – from the strategic to the outrageous. The panel will take a critical look at the most notable spots aired during Super Bowl XLI, and special emcee Don Tollefson of Philly’s Fox 29 is sure to bring a sportscaster’s wit to the game!
This year’s panelists include:
· Dave Austin, Director of Portfolio Marketing for AARP Services, Inc. (ASI), the for-profit subsidiary of AARP
· Kathy Fallon, CMO of Firstrust Bank
· John McGeehan, President and COO
This is Philly AMA’s premier event of the year. Over 100 area marketers and advertisers come to the Smackdown for the great atmosphere of Dave and Buster’s, the banter of the panelists and the discussion, and the connections that are forged at all of PAMA’s events.

There is free parking on-site at Dave and Buster’s, hors d’ouerves will be served and a cash bar will be available. Doors open at 5:45pm.
ABOUT PAMA
The Philadelphia Chapter of the AMA was organized in December of 1931 by 27 marketing pioneers and was one of the first 100 chapters now affiliated with the American Marketing Association.
Over the past few years, the Philadelphia Chapter and its members have played key roles in the functions of the national organizations and six of its members have served as president of the parent organization.
Membership in the Philadelphia Chapter has grown steadily over the years. From the 130 members that the chapter reported at the end of World War II, members today number well over 500, ranking sixth among all chapters in professional membership. Members represent a diversified array of businesses, industries, government agencies and professional organizations.
About Don Tollefson
Philadelphia area sports fans could not ask for a better friend than Don Tollefson! As sports anchor for the "FOX Ten O'clock News," Tollefson combines his knowledge, enthusiasm and "love of the game" to provide viewers with the best sports coverage throughout the Delaware Valley.
