RoanokeRapidsLife.com Introduces the Teacher of the Month Program

RoanokeRapidsLife.com, in partnership with Roanoke Rapids’ Starbucks, introduces the Roanoke Rapids Teacher of the Month Program. The teacher of the month program is only open to educators from the Roanoke Rapids Graded School District and Halifax Academy. Anybody can nominate a teacher.

To nominate a local teacher, e-mail the nomination to teacherofthemonth@roanokerapidslife.com with the following information: teacher’s name, school, grade, and a 300-word or less description of why the teacher should be named RoanokeRapidsLife.com’s Teacher of the Month. Applications should also include contact information for the individual sending the nomination, and the teacher’s contact information. Contact information should include: name, phone number, e-mail and mailing address.

Winners of the RoanokeRapidsLife.com Teacher of the Month program can rise and shine with a pound of Starbucks coffee and be featured in RoanokeRapidsLife.com’s teacher of the month section.

Applications do not need to be recent, all non-winning nominations will be held and considered for the next month’s contest. The Teacher of the Month Program will continue until May.
