UCAS has installed a new in-house ad server system to manage a huge network of third party advertising campaigns targeting students across its websites. UCAS receives an average of 35 million page impressions per month, and during its ABC audit period of November 2006 UCAS.com received 74 million. It is a huge resource for major organisations marketing to students and a big part of the fund raising activities managed by UCAS Media. The ad server system has been developed by Web analytics company eVisit Analyst to allow UCAS to publish ads directly onto its websites at extremely short notice. UCAS will be managing ads across the main UCAS site as well as a variety of subsections and micro-sites. It currently hosts around 800 campaigns for companies from a variety of sectors, including banking and mobile.

Emerson Osmond, Commercial Account Manager UCAS Media said:

“Having an in-house solution allows us to access data on any client advertising campaign within a few clicks. This allows us to provide up to the minute feedback to clients on the effectiveness of their adverts, With eVisit Analyst ad server we can schedule adverts to run for a given time period, for a given number of page impressions, or any combination of the two. This allows us to offer the most flexible to service to our customers that meets all their needs. It puts us in full control of all advertising on our various domains which is extremely important from a brand equity perspective.”

John Harrison, CEO of eVisit Analyst said:
