New Video Podcast Launched for Aspiring Actors

Actors On Demand (www.ActorsOnDemand.com), a video podcast that showcases actors is set to launch this week. The video podcast is the first of it’s kind to provide actors with a new marketing tool as opposed to headshots or demo reels. Created by Matthew Harvey and Erick Carrero, Actors On Demand hopes to revolutionize the casting process and enable actors to gain exposure.“ Everything evolves, so why can’t casting?” said Harvey, “ We want to be at the forefront of that movement, we want to evolve the casting process and we will.”

For casting directors and filmmakers, Actors on Demand allows them to quickly find and book the best in local talent at their next audition, saving time and money. It’s a groundbreaking new contact method for reaching talent quickly and directly.

Actors are filmed during Actors On Demand Filming Sessions, which will take place twice a month in the Los Angeles area. During the filming session, actors will film a one-minute segment stating some highlights of their acting resume, vital stats and contact info.

“ Our services are fairly inexpensive, in comparison to the price of headshots,”explains Carrero. “The exposure can reach such a large volume of people with a few minutes of an actor’s time, Actors On Demand does all the work.”

The Actors On Demand video podcast can be downloaded on Video Ipods,PSP,and other media players. Also, the videos will be available for viewing on several viral videos websites including Youtube, further helping actors gain exposure.
