BATAVIA, NEW YORK – January 19, 2007 – Western New York Paranormal announced today that their Supernatural Summit Ghost Hunter’s Conference and Psychic Fair (www.SUPERNATURALSUMMIT.com) will be held April 13 – 15, 2007 at the Holiday Inn Conference Center in Batavia, New York. The Supernatural Summit will bring members of the paranormal community together, along with those who are novice to the field, for an opportunity to learn together, share ideas, and participate in workshops from some of the leaders in paranormal research. Over the course of the weekend over 30 workshops will be offered to those attending on subjects including subjects like Ghost Hunting 101 and Spirit Photography to Haunted Tales of Batavia and Table Tipping like the Fox Sisters once did. “I just wanted to say that I rate the Paranormal Summit to be an A+…I only wish this was for a week and that I could spend more time with these cool people” said 2006 attendee Sherrie Pizzo of Elmira New York. While Todd Bates, one of the speakers from 2006 said that “the Supernatural Summit was by far one of the best get together I have seen in a very long time. From a speakers perspective, the students were simply outstanding and craving information!” With increased interest in the paranormal and the Supernatural Summit Ghost Hunter’s Conference and Psychic Fair, we (Western New York Paranormal) had to move the conference to a larger location which would mean more vendors and more speakers for 2007” explains Dwayne Claud, director of Western New York Paranormal.
Guests and speakers of the three-day conference will include investigators from groups around the country, members of the media, and leading field researchers such as Vince Wilson, Derek Bartlett, Christopher Bailey, Tim Shaw, Dwayne Claud, Ralph Esposito, Jenni Oneske, Richard Kimmel, Robbin VanPelt, Joe Cetrone, Michael Michael Piccurelli, Karyn Reece, Jeremy Hawthorne, Sarah Higgins, Steven Salatino, and Rich Eider. Over thirty workshops will be offered through the weekend with guests having the ability to choose their course of learning. Two workshops are offered every hour. This year’s event will also include a trade show and psychic fair!
Evening activities during the conference are plentiful. After the workshops of the day, a special presentation by Ralph Esposito of the Rochester Candlelight Ghost Walks (www.rochesterghosts.com) is planned at the Holiday Inn. Their presentation of “Hauntings and Supernatural Stories of Genesee County” will keep guests spellbound with local ghost stories and lore of the area for people to explore. Spiritualist Tim Shaw will take investigators on a trip into the world of the supernatural with an interactive table tipping session. Investigators can set up their equipment and record the session as they help to bring the tables alive with spirit in the tradition the Fox Sisters did so long ago. These are just a few of the activities planned for the conference.
The Supernatural Summit Ghost Hunter’s Conference and Psychic Fair is proud to have Ghostly Talk Paranormal Radio (www.ghostlytalk.com) as the official media sponsor of the 2007 conference. Doug and Scott will be on-site all weekend providing the international community a taste of the supernatural happenings.
