TORONTO ORGANIC LAWN CARE COMPANY, APPLEWOOD ACRES GARDENING & LANDSCAPING, ANNOUNCES SUPPORT FOR HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

TORONTO, Canada –– Applewood Acres Gardening & Landscaping ( Applewood Property Management) yesterday announced that it will be partnering with other companies this year in making a 2007 financial charitable contribution to Habitat For Humanity (Habitat) . Habitat’s main goal is to eliminate poverty housing by building homes in partnership with low-income families.

Habitat is a grass-roots movement. Concerned citizens from all walks of life come together as volunteers to form a Habitat for Humanity affiliate in their community. Fund raising, house construction, family selection and other key decisions are carried out by local affiliates.

Richard Brzakala, owner of Applewood states that his company has helped support Habitat in the past.“We have realized the importance of this genuine organization and seen first hand how it has changed lifes and brought promise and hope to many families, not just here in Canada but abroad as well.”

Applewood has not only contributed financially in the past, but has also partnered with many other volunteers to participate in site projects and builds. “We look forward to again providing assistance and participating in build projects in and around Toronto in 2007”, says Brzakala.
