The Meyer Company Adds New Division TMC Homes is the company’s new Residential Division

January 12, 2007: CHESTERFIELD, Mo. – The Meyer Company, one of St. Louis’ largest homebuilders, is introducing a new division, TMC Homes. TMC Homes will include the company’s residential projects in St. Louis and Illinois.

Throughout its 18 year history, The Meyer Company has focused on St. Louis’ urban core with infill building and is now diversifying and building in metro Illinois, Festus and other areas.

“Our goal is to grow the company through diversified products and markets, and provide our quality, affordable homes for families in different communities in the St. Louis area,” Jerry Meyer, President of The Meyer Company, said.

Affordable housing programs will continue under The Meyer Company name. The company's new division, TMC Homes, will include traditional residential projects such as current new home communities The Seasons at Godfrey and Timberwolf Estates in Festus.

“Creating this new division of The Meyer Company will allow us to continue to provide affordable housing to the Metro Area, while also working on more traditional residential developments,” Meyer said. “The time is right to make this distinction.”

The Meyer Company is one of St. Louis’ 25 largest homebuilders according to the St. Louis Business Journal. The company, owned by Jerry Meyer, looks for unique home sites that offer homeowners a quality home at a good value. The firm is working on neighborhood projects in Alton, Godfrey, St. Charles County, Woodson Terrace, Ferguson, Gaslight Square, the Central West End and Midtown St. Louis.
