Real Estate Broker Not Ashamed to Use Despised Zillow.com to Help Sellers
January 10, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
Deerfield, IL. – Despite the accusations and complaining of other agents regarding real estate website: Zillow.com, Broker Evan Kane decides to help his sellers by posting their properties on the site.Agents and home sellers can post their listing for free on Zillow.com. The site gives out a very broad range of a possible value of a property. There are a lot of Real Estate Agents complaining about Zillow.com and the home estimates they give to consumers.
Evan Kane, the Real Estate Broker for Endeavor Realty will embrace anything that he thinks may help his clients sell property. The fact is that anything that is a good venue to reach buyers is a good place to post property.
"No matter how inaccurate they are, they are the sixth most visited real estate site in the country and if home buyers are going there and I’m representing a seller, then I’m going where the buyers are” states Evan Kane. Zillow.com is the site home buyers love and agents love to hate.
Of course Realtors can give a better estimate on a home’s market value than a five second calculation on Zillow.com. That is why this isn’t stopping Evan Kane from using the site. Even Zillow.com states that the numbers are not serious estimates.
Using Zillow.com is a way of advertising client’s properties on the market. It is attracting a large number of users and maximizing exposure for the seller. Evan Kane states, "Those that are completely ignoring it or complaining about it are missing out on the opportunity of reaching more buyers."
