CBS News Names Danny Lipford as their Home Improvement Contributor for a Fifth Season

Lipford will make numerous appearances in 2005 including live shots from the CBS studios in New York as well as from industry trade shows around the country. He will continue to highlight the latest in home improvement trends, new home products and do-it-yourself projects. Lipford’s next appearance will be Wednesday, April 6 when he and The Early Show’s co-anchor Harry Smith, head to Connecticut to help a family during their series, “Anchors to the Rescue.”

“Danny is an important part of The Early Show family and we are excited to have him on board again in 2005,” said Michael Bass, senior executive producer, The Early Show. When asked about renewing his partnership with the program, Lipford stated, “The Early Show audience is growing, the hosts and crew are great and they all love home improvement. The live aspect of the show allows me to share fresh, current information with The Early Show viewers.”

Lipford also serves as the home improvement expert for The Weather Channel where his weather-related home improvement features air 30 – 40 times each week.
