CDI Group Services Global Contracts Worth £500,000

Birmingham-based CDI Group has boosted the city's reputation as a worldwide network communications resource after completing 20 installation contracts worth more than £500,000 in the past six months. Engineers from the leading network infrastructure provider each clocked up more than 100,000 miles installing systems in five continents.

CDI teams delivered their skills and state-of-the-art cabling and data systems to nearly 20 European nations from Portugal to Russia, as well as to North Africa, North and South America, South East Asia and Australia.

The King's Norton based company, established in 1998, carried out detailed site surveys before deploying and integrating communication networks for its national and multinational customers.

Chris Jones, CDI project manager, said: "The contracts demonstrate that we can supply the best materials and engineering services for data networks anywhere in the world from our base in Birmingham."

He added: "The eight years of experience and expertise that we have built up have also taught us how to adapt to different languages and economic and commercial cultures in order to provide the highest levels of service."
