KANSAS CITY, MO: (December 25, 2006) — Bumblefish Inc., the leading provider of grab and go sushi and neo-Asian cuisine in the Kansas City, Missouri area, today announces the development of a new Bumblefish quick service establishment in the Washington, D.C. suburb of Alexandria, Virginia. Situated at the corner of King Street and Washington in the heart of historic Old Town, this is the company's first site outside of Missouri and part of a rapid expansion plan into the mid-Atlantic. The cafe, located on the busiest intersection in the city, is slated to open in February 2007 and will feature indoor and outdoor seating, new menu choices, and extended hours. The company also is the in-house producer of sushi for one of Kansas City's largest grocery stores in Kansas City's Westport District.
