Benchmark Consulting to Acquire Leading Application Modernization Firm

Atlanta, Georgia based Benchmark Consulting today announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to purchase Castor Technologies, a leading application modernization services company based in Montreal and Tampa. Upon closing, the acquisition will establish Benchmark Consulting's portfolio application modernization services as the clear choice for companies seeking to optimize the value that application transformation brings to business.

Castor Technologies is the developer of an application modernization platform suite. This suite, IRIS™ (Intelligent Rejuvenator for Information Systems), is Castor Technologies’ flagship integrated product for porting, migration and full legacy transformation. IRIS™ is a set of tools that automates legacy application transformation and reduces the overall migration effort.
