HockeyShare.com Offers Free Stat Tracking for Hockey Teams

Anyone familiar with the inner-workings of the hockey world is aware of a significant lack of online hockey resources. Many of the hockey sites that exist are nothing more than generic template sites that provide little visual appeal and even less usefulness. One new site is looking to expand your expectations for what an online hockey resource should be. HockeyShare.com is a new website which offers teams the ability to track their own stats online for free

"Hockey is already an expensive sport, I don't see why there needs to be one more thing to pay for" says Kevin Muller - HockeyShare.com founder. "I know stat tracking was never something I was willing to pay for as a coach - so when somebody from our organization asked me before the season if we were going to keep stats, I decided it was time for me to make my own solution."

The site has been seeing steady growth since its launch in October. "Everyone who finds my site tells me they love how simple it is for them to keep track of their team's progress over the season. And of course they can't get over the fact that I'm not charging" comments Muller. "I've even had several people ask me what the 'catch' is to the site. The good news is that there is no catch - I just wanted to create this resource to help expand hockey's online presence and offer a place where users could interact and share ideas."

Muller comments that while the current design is still pretty basic, there will be a new look coming shortly after the new year. Regardless of look, the set of resources offered at HockeyShare.com are quite remarkable - especially for the price.
