Schwartz Center for Children “on track” with new ceiling track system in Physical Therapy Room

LAKEVILLE, MA…The Schwartz Center for Children continues to treat the unique and specific needs of children with disabilities by adding a sophisticated ceiling track system to transport students throughout the Center’s physical therapy room located within the organization’s expansive, new four acre campus and 21,000 square foot building on Posa Place in North Dartmouth, MA. The Center has enjoyed its new facilities since September of this year.

The SureHands ceiling track system - designed and installed by Lift & Care Systems based in Lakeville, MA - includes a seat harness that helps to lift and move children anywhere in the room, and to various physical therapy equipment. The harness allows students to stand, ambulate and safely work with the equipment.

Lift & Care Systems also helped design and install two hydraulic seat lifts for The Schwartz Center’s pool area. This helps children to get in and out of the pool without having to use ladders and other access boundaries. A wall mounted seat lift system was also customized to the changing room.
