GOLF TRAINING AID VIDEOS ON WEB

Leading golf training aids manufacturer and distributor Perfectstroke now has videos of the products it sells viewable free on the internet. Visitors to the Perfectstroke website are now able to view a video usually of around two minutes of training aids that they be interested in.

“As far as we know this is a first in the world for people to be able to get a close look at how a number of golf training aids work on the one site.” Managing Director of Perfectstroke Mark Officer said. “It means that the customer is able to make more of an informed decision regarding something they are interested in rather than relying on a picture of an aid or a testimonial from a user or professional.”

Golf training aids that are sold on the Perfectstroke site that feature these short videos include David Leadbetter’s Swing Setter, the Swingyde, Perfectstroke Putting Aid, the Heaviron, Clubface Assistant, Ernie Els Training System, the Channel Mirror and Perfectstroke Putting Mirror. Also viewable on the site are videos for the usage of the Guideline Laser, a training aid developed to help with alignment and to monitor strokepath and the Birdie007 Laser Putter which has lasers built into the face.

The Perfectstroke Putting Aid is one of the featured training aids on the site and the video which demonstrates it shows how the path of the putter moves slightly inside/inside during the stroke. This occurs because it uses a suspended plane mechanism whereby the shaft of the putter rests on a chrome rail which is positioned above the ground parallel to the target line. As the head moves slightly on an arc during the stroke the putterface also opens and closes slightly in relation to the target but the face remains square to the path. This is clearly shown on the video and this is the way that top instructors and PGA Tour players believe is the best way and technically correct way to putt.
